Learning to Draw Trees

In 2021, Dan Sumption learned to draw trees in a very public way, with a monthly page in Bodge magazine showing his progress. Surprised the drawings went from scrappy scribbles to accomplished images within just a few months. Learning to Draw Trees is a collection of these drawings from Bodge, as well as previously unpublished sketches, and thoughts, reflections and suggestions for anyone wanting to follow my journey. Quite a few people have said that the book has inspired them to start drawing, which delights us: that was the reason why for doing this in such a public manner.
